Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use your browser’s local storage for a similar purpose — remembering your choices without sending that data back to our servers on every page load.

Sokufy currently only sets strictly necessarycookies — the kind that don’t legally require consent because the site can’t work without them:

• Supabase auth session cookies — keep you signed in between page loads and requests, and let us verify who you are before showing your saved experiences, listings, or account settings.
• `locale` cookie — remembers whether you prefer the site in Italian or English.

We also store one item in your browser’s local storage — your cookie-consent choice itself (accepted / declined), so we don’t show the banner on every visit.

As Sokufy grows we may introduce optional cookies for analytics (to understand which experiences and places are popular) or, later, for bookings and payments. If we do, we will:

• Update this page to describe exactly what is added and why;
• Ask for your consent through the cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set;
• Let you withdraw that consent at any time, in the same way you gave it.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. Declining does not block you from using Sokufy — today it simply has no effect, since we don’t set any non-essential cookies yet. You can also clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, though doing so will sign you out and reset your language preference.
