Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Sokufy, operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], VAT / P.IVA [VAT/P.IVA], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Italy (“Sokufy”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using Sokufy, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Sokufy is a discovery platform that helps people find authentic Sicilian experiences, events, and places, and lets local businesses and creators list their own activities. Sokufy is a directory and discovery tool — unless explicitly stated on a listing, Sokufy is not the organiser, host, or operator of the experiences shown, and is not a party to any arrangement you make directly with a listed business.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
• You must be at least 16 years old to create a Sokufy account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to other users.

If you submit an experience listing, event, place, photo, video, review, or any other content to Sokufy, you confirm that:

• You own the content or have the right to submit and publish it;
• It is accurate — in particular, business contact details, opening times, prices, and booking links must be correct to the best of your knowledge;
• It does not infringe anyone else’s rights and does not break the law.

You keep ownership of the content you submit. By publishing it on Sokufy, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating and promoting the platform (for example, showing it on the map, in search results, or in social previews). You can request removal of your content at any time by contacting us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

We may review, moderate, or remove content that violates these Terms, is inaccurate, or is reported by other users, at our reasonable discretion.

You agree not to:

• Use Sokufy for any unlawful purpose;
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings;
• Scrape, copy, or resell Sokufy’s data or content without permission;
• Attempt to interfere with the security or normal operation of the platform;
• Impersonate another person or business.

Sokufy does not currently process bookings or payments. Where a listing includes a third-party booking link, any booking, payment, and cancellation is a contract directly between you and that business, subject to their own terms. If and when Sokufy introduces in-platform bookings or ticketing, additional terms covering pricing, cancellations, and refunds will apply and will be presented to you before you complete a purchase.

Sokufy is provided “as is”. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate and the platform available, but we do not guarantee that experiences, events, prices, or availability shown on Sokufy are always up to date, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of experiences offered by third-party businesses listed on the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by Italian and EU law, Sokufy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or your dealings with any business listed on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

We may update these Terms as Sokufy evolves. We will post the revised version here with an updated “Last updated” date, and where changes are material we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly. Continued use of Sokufy after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having territorial competence over our registered address (see Section 1), without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have as a resident of the EU/EEA to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
